Buying a gift
Can I buy a massage gift certificate online in Charlotte?
Yes. Shop our gift certificates online and check out in a few clicks. Online orders go through one certificate at a time, so just repeat checkout if you're buying for a few people.
Can gift certificates be purchased in person?
Yes, at our studio: 8432 Old Statesville Rd, Suite 425, Charlotte, NC 28269. We work by appointment, so please call or text 213-290-6167 first and we'll make sure someone is here to help you.
What amount or service should I choose?
Not sure? The 50-minute Signature Therapeutic Massage ($135) is our most gifted and suits almost anyone. Choose the Luxury Escape Ritual ($290) for a big, all-out treat, or an Oxygen Session ($30) for a little something extra. Happy to help you pick: call or text 213-290-6167.
Can I choose a specific dollar amount?
Online, you'll choose from the options shown at checkout. Have a different amount in mind? Call or text 213-290-6167 and we'll set it up for you.
Can I add a tip?
Not on an online purchase. Online checkout covers only the cost of the certificate.
Getting it to them
How is it delivered?
Online purchases are delivered digitally. If you buy in person, just ask for digital or physical.
Can I email it to the recipient, or print it?
Either one. At checkout, choose email or print. Emailed certificates go out right after purchase, so if you're saving the surprise for the holidays, enter your own email and pass it along when you're ready.
I'm a last-minute shopper. Will it arrive in time?
Yes. There's no shipping to wait on. Email it or print it the moment you finish checkout.
What if the certificate gets lost?
Call or text 213-290-6167 and we'll look it up and resend it.
Using a gift
How does the recipient book and redeem it?
Visit www.goodbodyessentials.co, tap Book Now, and pick a service and time. At checkout, select "Gift Certificate" under payment options, then enter the code exactly as it appears on the certificate, including any capital letters and dashes.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, all visits are by appointment. We're open Wednesday and Thursday 9am to 4:30pm, and Friday and Saturday 9am to 7pm.
What services can it be used for?
Any service you can book online. The Luxury Escape Ritual and The Good Body Renewal are booked by phone, so call or text 213-290-6167 with your code handy. The Good Body Renewal is for first-time clients.
Can the recipient choose their own service?
Yes. A certificate works by its dollar value, so they can put it toward a different service. If the service costs more, they pay the difference. If it costs less, the rest stays on their account as credit, which doesn't expire either.
Can a gift certificate be used toward packages?
Yes. Call or text 213-290-6167 and we'll apply it to your package for you.
What should a first-time recipient expect?
A calm, private room and an unhurried visit. We'll start with a quick chat about how your body is feeling and what you'd like to focus on, including any health conditions we should know about. You'll stay draped the whole time, undress only to your comfort level, and can ask us to change the pressure anytime.
The fine print
Does it expire?
No. Our gift certificates don't expire, and there are no maintenance or inactivity fees. Book whenever the time is right.
Are there restrictions or limitations?
Just a few. Gift certificates are non-refundable and can't be exchanged for cash. First-time client offers are limited to new clients, one per person. Our 24-hour cancellation policy applies to appointments paid with a gift certificate.
Are gift certificates transferable?
Yes, the whole point is giving it to someone else. Whoever has the code can redeem it, so treat it like cash.
What if the price of the service goes up?
Your certificate keeps the dollar value it was purchased for and goes toward the current price.
What happens if they cancel or miss the appointment?
With at least 24 hours' notice, there's no charge. With less notice, 50% of the service fee applies. A no-show is charged 100% of the service fee.
